I'm offering up my workhorse CZ-7. This is the detector I have been using the most this year.
I grab it most times except when I'm just wanting to beep dig for relics.
I have found alot of good stuff with this detector, Barbers, Indians, relics. etc
This is one of those detectors that doesn't present well on the classifieds because it has some cosmetic issues.
But I assure you all functions work as they should, and it will airtest a dime 10"+
Now for the issues, It was left in truck and heat created a bump on top of control box. I have used it many times and this DID NOT efect the workings at all.
One of the battery Packs is original and one is aftermarket. The aftermarket one is a tad shorter than original. I just use a piece of cardboard to keep it snug to contacts. The rod locks were kinda funky. Right now I have the one closeest to the control box tight and I replaced the lower one with a aftermarket plugger rod lock (these are great) ,problem solved.
Thats about it, thats enough I know
The only reason I'm offering this detector is I have another CZ and just bought a Coin Scanner Pro that I want to try and use.
What I like about the CZ-7 is the Detector runs on 8AA batteries that last forever. Supposily they drain the batteries when turned off but I just remove the battery packs when I don't use it. The detector has no speaker and is splashproof, you can hunt in light rain.
Last it is the most ergonomical friendly of all the rod mounted CZ's.
I have the factory optional external speaker also I forgot in the picture, oh yeah and a coil cover included
I know this is not a closet queen by any stretch but I quarantee it to work as it should.
So if you have a detector your not using and want to try a CZ, make me a trade offer.
Sorry about pictures, have not mastered indoor picture taking, screen is ok there is a reflection in picture
