The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

WTT or Sell Xterra 70 with 8 coils, and pin-pointer, Complete package

[size=large]I would like to trade this Xterra 70 package which includes all of the Minelab Xterra coils, housing cover, and Vibra-Tector 730 for an older TDI, Infinium LS, Tesoro Lobo, or Whites GMT.. my preference in that order. Coils alone on this package are currently $1365.00 at Kellyco. The Vibra-Tector is $145.95. A Xterra 705 is $729.00 right now. This is a great package to get going in metal detecting. I have had this equipment for some time and it is used. Some more than others and some less. The 5 by 10 coil is the most heavily used and has probably a medium to medium high level of scuffs. It's coil cover never stayed on since new and customer service said to silicone it. I used Scotch 33+ electrical tape on it instead and its worked great. The only other fault worth mentioning is on the 9" 18.75 khz concentric coil. It is brand new and never used but has a cracked coil cover (picture included). Silicone or order a new one for $18. Some slight scuffs to no scuffs on the rest of the coils with the DD's being probably the second most used. All in all this is a really clean rig and runs like a top. I'm just interested in concentrating on gold more. To replace this with the 705 and coils as well as pin-pointer would cost over $2200.00 new. I am considering it all worth about $1200 in sale or trade value. Feel free to PM me for additional info or pic's. If a trade we can each cover the shipping of our own stuff each way. I have done business on the classifieds before with Surfscanner Bill and others. I did buy the Xterra new from Kellyco originally I believe. All offers will be considered. [size=large]Note. Just answered a question about the 9 inch HF coil. The crack is in the scuff cover, not the coil. The coil is brand new, never used. I don't remember how the coil cover got cracked... but the coil has zero defects and works great (just plugged it in and tested it, just about 12 inchs on a clad quarter open air test). So... if in doubt, it's guaranteed. Will refund if not happy). Thanks again, Ron[/size]
 
I just want to say thanks for all the offer's on the coils. I'm going to hold on to this rig if I can't find a trade or ?. If you know someone with a Lobo Super Traq or GMT, and their thinking of coins and relics.. this is a good deal. I think both the Lobo and GMT are about half the price of a complete set of coils for the Xterra. Anyway, I've got your PM's and if I do break it up I'll give everyone a heads up... just think I'd probably be better keeping it as a backup than breaking it all up..
