This coil has been used less than a year and works fine. It comes with the coil cover but I sprayed the bottom of the coil with spray on bedliner so I didn't need the cover and dropped 3.6oz off the weight. Minor nicks/scratches but otherwise in good shape. I would prefer trading it for a 12x10 or perhaps an S-12. This coil is awesome and separates/pinpoints better to me than the 10" Tornado. I just feel in my high mineral ground it isn't able to get quite the depth of the stock coil. It will easily hit coins 8 or 9" deep but I've dug them 11" with the 10" Tornado. For that reason I feel it's seeing too much mineralization in my soil even though it runs smoother at higher sensitivity levels than the stock coil. It is deeper than the stock coil for me on my beaches but my main concern is land hunting. Dealing with the kind of minerals I have I have a feeling the 12x10 or S-12 is about the biggest coil I can go to while still showing greater depths. Anything beyond that might be saturating the target with too much ground matrix and that's the only reason why I'm willing to trade off the 15x12 for one of those. Otherwise it's an awesome coil and if I had the money I'd keep it as well just for it's coverage alone. Shoot me a PM if you want to trade.
