Don't know why but my post disappeared so here it is again. I have a Tesoro Sidewinder uMax that is in very good shape and works 100%. These are one of the first models that Tesoro came out with that used their small housing. The Sidewinder uses a 12 kHz Frequency which is good for finding the small jewelry and silver coins. Even though a pinpoint button is not needed on any Tesoro detector there is one included on the Sidewinder. Another plus with the Sidewinder is the deeper/smaller the target the softer the sound. Most seasoned detectorist perfer a slight threshold buzz sound when hunting in all metal like the Sidewinder has, I don't like it I just can't used to a detector that is anything but silent search & that includes all metal mode. That is the reason for wanting to trade it. I am looking to trade for a Silver uMax or a ???? up for offers on any all metal mode silent search detector.
