WW1 US collar Ensign F75!! ( 0 Sen)

Was hunting a field and was using the Tornado coil. I had the F75 on BP, DISC 65, and Sen 0. Hit this US ensign at 7 inches down clear as a bell. Considering the Sen was on 0.

Nalc, that's a nice find. Looks about the size of a quarter? Lots of times I keep my discrimination at 65, keeps the trash from driving me crazy.

It seems the detector is more stable at 65 disc. I found clad and a dime out in that field also and they were clear. It seems when I put the discim at 21 I hear all kind of crap. Try putting it in BP and start at 30 sen and adjust all the way to 0 if necessary to get a good stable signal. You will be impressed.

Nice find. What is it made of ? I would think that disc at 65 could make it disappear.

I believe even when U set it at 65 disc the coppers 63 and higher seem to come in clear.

Nice find. Just wondering if you notch the upper and lower nickel segment back in? I find a lot of nickels that way. Nickels will come in at 30-31 solid. Some gold also falls in that segment.

I believe it is made of Bronze.
