X-1 install Question

Clifford Powell

New member
Just got my new Explorer II and X-1 probe tonight. Everything goes together quite easily but I'm not sure on attaching the X-1. The instructions state to put it on the battery area over the label but which way do you the point the coil end? X-1 coil towards the primary coil or towards the arm cup?

TIA

I have the bottom of the X-1 facing the coil. It's only like that because the holder has gotten a little loose since I put it on. The X-1 clips in just fine, but if I put it in "upside down", it slides out. Happen to prefer it in that way anyway :)
