x-1 probe purchase question

i read that i have to send in the shaft to have a x1 probe mounted, come on, 2 weeks without my detector, that scares the hellout of me ill have to join a clinic.is this true?

Most people with the XS II will buy the X1 probe complete with the upper shaft as Ralph has them that way. There is a charge for the upper shaft too, but it is nice if you ever have to send in the Explorer to have work done to it as you put the original shaft on and wont have to send the probe in with it.
If you have a XS that shaft is different and they are no longer being made, so here is where you may have to send in the shaft you have if Ralph dont have one.
The X1 probe is the best investment you can do for your Explorer as you will see if you get a X1 probe.

Todd; I have an extra upper shaft (slightly used) for the Explorer XS that I don't need.I'll sell it for $25.00 delivered. I guess it's ok to post this, if not - Take it away, Guv.
