I am interested in buying an X-1 Probe, for there has been many times when I have had a good signal and dug a plug and it disappeared, in dirt and in sand at the beach. I just looked at the ad from sunray and it looks like I will have to purchase a upper rod also cause there is no way I am going to have any down time! Does anyone know what the total cost would be if I did get probe with upper shaft. I think $179 for the probe is a bit pricey. Do they ever have sales?
