went to use my machine and it acted like it was okay but for some reason all id's were way off a nickel was reading -4 a quarter 22 tried a different coil to no prevail even pull batteries and no go was wondering how to do a factory rest and also if anyone else had same or similar problem hate to lose it this time of year but it is also one of the first 700 made any help would be appreciated thanx Pat
You said it happens with more than one coil. Before trying a Factory Mode reset, check to make sure that one of the little pins on the coil connector at the backside of the housing isn't bent or broken. And make sure you have fresh batteries. If both of these check out OK, here is the info on doing a reset....
