X-terra70, .How does it handle wet salt beach?

Well, I let this sit all weekend hoping that one of our salt beach hunters would chime in, but that hasn't happened so I'll reiterate what has been reported in the past.
Basically, it suffers the same as all single frequency VLF machines do in wet salt. The only machines that will work well in those conditions are multi-freq and PI units.

The Xterra with a HF coil on it will do well in dry salt sand, and member bob_oz periodically posts some impressive finds he scores with his. Look for some of his threads if you're really interested.
Here's one to give you a taste. https://www.findmall.com/read.php?55,2366229,2366229#msg-2366229
