x terra705 vs ATPro??

You would be welcome,
iv'e got plenty of land /permissions,so detecting would be sorted.:wiggle:

I would go for the X Terra 705 if given the choice between the two, because I can adjust the volume control for things such as ear buds and cheaper headphones. I do not need the much more expensive headphone with volume controls.

I have an Xterra 70 and have had the ATP. Still have the 70. The ATP was is nice machine and very capable. The ATP buttons would sometimes stick if you got some dirt or sand in them but could be washed out. The coil and headphone connections are a pain in the rear. It's also heavier than it looks. I still have the 70 after trying many machines because it works very well without having to mess with a bunch of settings to get hunting. Honestly, if ML would upgrade the 10' DD to a modern style I wouldn't even try other machines. Well maybe a 705.

Couldn't agree more, the main reason I sold my at pro was I just couldn't tell what I was hunting, way to many funky noises

I didn't like the small, close together buttons on the ATP. Then add what Longhair said. I tried other machines and ran right back to the X-terra. Change the coil, change the frequency, hunt everything!:detecting:
