XL Pro questions

Fred/in Fla.

New member
Does anyone have any ideas on how to 'juice-up' a XL Pro ? The machine works pretty well as it is but I just think it should work better. For instance... It seems to work quietly and well in geb-disc. mode, even with the disc.set low. All-metal mode seems fine. GEB_SAT and TR_DISC> both seem to be difficult to hunt with. Any body else have that problem? Is it worth (really) the money to get the larger coils like the factory 15in BlueMax? I want to use the XL Pro to relic hunt this year. Also White's says you can use this machine to prospect (gold) but when I set it up to try it it won't even pick up my wedding ring laying on the ground. I hunt mostly in central Florida and mineralization in the soil is'nt a problem. I also hunt in NW So. Carolina in and around Gaffney, Pacelet Mills and Chesney amoung other areas. Thanks for any input on the matter. Fred/in Fla.
