XL500 SEA HUNTER COIL QUESTIONS

Has anyone out there taken a factory coil apart or know what the inductance and capacitance is on the 8 inch coil. I would like to play with building some larger coils for the XL but don't have any staring specs. It's hard to read the coil with a meter due to a built in cap. Does anyone have a used 11 inch factory coil for sale at a good price? Thanks, Joe
 
Hey Joe, I have one around somwhere buts it's only been used once. I think it measures about 13 inches.
I would be willing to sell it but I can't afford to give it away. Let me know if you are interested and I'll try to locate it. Maybe we can come to terms on value. Thanks therick
