I have a couple rolls of bare cooper wire thats been laying around for fifteen years or so ,Then xmas night I decided to make me a copper detector it is 27 inches long I modeled it after my X-terra 705.
It is sitting on the top shelf of my display cabinet on the silver and gold shelf most all was found with my 705.I also have a few 1800's coins that are in my 1800's case I found with it.
I think it is cool and just wanted to share with other 705 users.

It looks just like my converted straight shaft.----I'm so glad you chose to put a DD coil on it!----It even has the coil cable going to the control box, a really neat project you did there.

I converted mine to a strait shaft also I feel it balances out better and just looks better also but thats just my opinion.

Now that's pretty darn cool, I like it. I need to come up with some kind of display case for some of my finds. as far as making a copper MDer, I don't think I could do as good of a job as you did, wtg

Ditto that!
That shadowbox display is sweet! The Copper MD sculpture shows a flair that I don't posess. Nice work!
