XP DEUS AUDIO OVERLOAD MIA?

BHMACK

New member
As a new Deus user I am either disappointed in the Audio Overload feature or I don't know how to adjust it to get it acting like an American. Where's the "wawawa!" squelch effect of the F75 etc.? The Deus almost seems absent of any Audio Overload at all. I've found myself unsure if there's a crushed can just under the coil. There's got to be more to it than i'm experiencing...... or am I doomed to abandon the 'Overload' of my forefathers?

Je suis Deus!

Set it to "2" for a slightly more "overload" sound for those crushed cans. Honestly, I haven't seen much difference in surface coins with any overload setting, so it stays in the default "1" setting for me. I find myself lifting the coil while sweeping over the larger aluminum targets. Not foolproof though, and I still dig a few deeper "can halves" from time to time

Go to Audio response, then tab down and you will see overload come up. adjust with + or - as necessary. Look in the baqck of your manual, there are menu trees you can most things at a glance. Cheers;

Thanks guys! Yea, I've been through the settings and like you CZ I do the lift method but in areas full of oversized whatzits like one of my pastures that half an old town sat on in the 1800s I'm lifting my coil all day. it'd be nice to have it scream at me on those surface cans etc. I'll try '2'.
