V4 coming late summertime from what I was reading, Hope it comes out earlier tho it would suck to update then not have much time in the season to test it out.

The V4 will be out later in the year , maybe the Summer ? But the biggest improvement will also be around that time !
I have been told that sometime in the Summer a new Multi Frequency coil will be released , I don't have details but have been told that it will be punching more than 1 frequency at a time , maybe all 4 that the Deus has or maybe other instead or too ? I have heard of an elliptical coil too and maybe this is the one but I don't know that but for me that would be brilliant and will certainly make a certain other company sit up and think !
I will always keep Minelab detectors but if XP do release a Multi freq coil then I will buy it straight away.

This information was told to me buy a top source who will be testing it but even he has little info to say at this time.

We will just have to wait and see.

Well-----A short while ago, I sent Andy a P.M. asking about when the next update and new coil could be expected to be available.----He either lost my P.M., didn't want to answer it, or didn't know---as I never received an answer.------Sooo, I emailed the XP Company & asked the same question(s) & immediately got an answer.------They said the next Deus update should be out this summer & a new elliptical coil for the Deus will come out probably by the end of the year.-----This is the latest info from them as I just received their email answer about three days ago.--------As Deus customers/users--It's nice SOMEONE is willing answer our questions/concerns--instead of ignoring them!-------------Del

Don't get your knickers in a knot if you would have read one of his latest posts on the XP Forum you would realize he is holding down a job working 50 hours a week plus writing in instruction manuals on new detector's and fielding question's on various setting's to help the user in the field. I think you owe Andy a big apology.

And don't get YOUR "knickers in a knot"----I just happen to think it's rude not to answer P.M.'s--always have.-----All it takes is a simple (precise) few words--but then, I guess I'm "old fashioned" in todays world!-------BTW, "you're welcome" for the XP response I posted---it was really nice of them to answer in a very timely fashion (busy as they are).-----I hope it was info a few people appreciated from them--I know I did.
