...at least someone who dares showing us something without begging for green light from xp..:smoke:

When you are involved in testing a product for a company - any company - they have you sign a non-disclosure agreement which states you will not release information until the product goes final. Now you might see that as little more than a formality that really has no restriction on leaking information to the world trying to one up the company or someone else but others try to abide by the words on the paper.

In the case of XP and V3.0, the product evolved as testing took place and refinements were made. Alain has some very firm rules which focus around getting it right when it is released with his comapny's logo on it and the software took what it has to ensure it was right and bug free. The problem with an all digital platform is that while it gives designers a slate to build a wide range of features into, whenever you change one thing you need to test it all in case something was inadvertantly changed in some other part of the process.

Slipping out tidbits of what is coming may have made some people happy but 1) it violated the agreement and what was asked of anyone involved in testing by XP and 2) may have discussed a feature that was eliminated or revised in the final version.

Sorry if I opted to adhere to what the agreement stated . . . . . but as they say, "to each his own"

No worries... It'll be released soon enough.. The words "faithful" and "integrity" don't mean much to most anymore, glad you are following the rules! This gains respect from others alike! I live my life by both, and wish it was more common now in days..

Come on Andy, you can let us know, we promise not to tell anyone......

Yes, a man should stand by his word, but that should be for all dealings...not selective ones.
