XS LOWER RODS ON A SAFARI?

Will XS lower rods work on a Safari? Is it a mod? If a mod, can a dummy do it, or, is it a high tech mod? When I say can a dummy do it, that pretty much means will the XS lower rod work on the Safari, with only a minor shove, or, a loving tap with a sledge hammer. Other than that, I consider it high tech.

They will, but ya have to sand the crap out of them to make em' fit right and slide, only worth it if you can get them really cheap!!!...MO
