Xterra 10" DD coil gone bad?

I have a couple minelab X-terra 50s and the one my wife uses, i put a 10" DD coil on it, She used it a couple times and loved it but now steel bottle caps read a solid 39. If i check it with my other xterra 50 with the stock coil, it reads 9 - 12 - 15. My question is, where do i send the minelab coil so they can fix it.

If you have a 10.5 DD 7.5 kHz, in most soils the bottle cap well come in as 39. If you wiggle the coil and pull it back to you, right before the sound stops the number sould drop to # 27 and that well tell you that it is a bottle cap.

I don't think theirs anything wrong with your coil, but I maybe wrong.
