Xterra 70 OR tejon difference

New member
I was looking for a Tejon but could not come up with what I wanted.I had a tejon before and the Xterra 70 and the 705-I thought the 705 was a little bit better but not much I really liked the 70 and thought it was more user friendly and it was neat as all heck. I don't remember if it was heavy or not but Also it was my intro to the minelab build quality. While looking for the Tejon I started reading about the Xterra again in this forum and convinced me this is the way to go.
I never really gave it a chance before.
The one I had I bought off of the forum and had three coils.
I don't remember how deep it was compared to others that I had but I liked the process of learning to use it.

I liked the ground balance part of it and the tone part I think it was four .I also really like the prospector part of it. I have a coin garden in my yard and the deepest is a silver half dollar and a silver quarter both at 10" there are various coins and tabs at different depths but no cans.
The Cibola I had found everything up to 8" but I had to really play with it to pick up the Half and Quarter. It had to be supertuned to get them. Can anybody help me with the advantages of the X-terra 70 over the tejon.
thanks
