xterra 70

Had the oppertunity to use my new xterra 70 i bought on here yesterday gold prospecting. I really love this machine and the amount of ease it is to use. I didn't find any nuggets with it , but i did find some gold. I am kinda new to detecting so i would just search bed rock and all targets i find i would just put in my pan then when the pan gets full i would pan it out. I did however find a worn out mercury dime date unknown due to the water wornness of it. But i could make out the piller on the back of the dime. So at least i could say is i found some silver.. I was going to post a picture but i can't remember where i put the dime at my house. I was googleing it and looking at it with a magnafine glass then the phone rang and i don't know where i put it. Well i am on the hunt again for the dime. Jess.

 I lose things that I just had too!

Welcome to the Xterra family, and congrats on the finds! You'll do well with that machine, and it only gets better as you learn it.

Good luck, great machine . The 705 which is its successor finds me loads on the beach . Did on Wednesday , will post tomorrow night UK time.

Thanks everyone and it is a very sweet machine. I really like the fact that every target i received i found a target. I found alot of lead and bullets. Just can't wait to get out again and try my luck on some gold.
