Was detecting a park and got a "huge" signal. It was 10" down. First I found the lorry then the trailer 4 feet away. Its a Dinky toy Nr.421/30W Hindle Smart Helecs Electric Lorry. Made in England 1955.
Amazing its still in such a good condition.Wheels still spinning and tires soft,no problem to put them at right place on the rim.Coil was 6"DD.

Fun find just the same, how will a chinese made toy car last in the ground? Not very long I guess.

Here in the States its mostly matchbox cars, trucks, etc.. All the same I've always enjoyed finding and then displaying them. The latest was a 98% plastic (the only metal was two screws and the two axles) Trans Former car made in Vietnam. When they finally go to all plastic, guess our days of finding little toy cars & trucks will finally be over with.

That's a good looking little truck. I really like finding Tootsie toy cars and trucks and have a little collection. I find a l lot of matchbox and other brands too. Congrats on your nice find and excellent depth with the 6" !!!

Nice find and a good post. It gives us information when you include which coil you used and the depth you reached with it in your recovery. Well done.
