XTERRA 705 IN FARM FIELD HOUSE SITE

I have a 705 that I have hardly used since I bought it over a year ago....maybe 2 hours use total. My question is how well will the 705 perform in
an old home site in a farm field with coins, buttons, brass items, and who knows what else mixed in with small nails and iron ? I have the 3 kHz and
7 kHz 9 inch coils, plus the 18 kHz elliptical and 15 inch WOT 3 kHz coils for the 705. Which frequency would be the best to use in this environment, or is the 705
not a good choice for this site ? Thanks ......

Roger

I use the 705 and 3kHz coils most at sites like that because of the prevalence of old square nails, and I have really good luck on coins and flat buttons.

Regardless of which coil(s) you employ, be sure to crisscross the search area. Otherwise you'll miss items masked by all the nails.

Thanks guys, I thought the 3 kHz might be the best coil to try in that situation. I'm headed there tomorrow to see what shows up with the 705 with the 3 kHz coil.
