XT's threshold...

Dan-Pa.

New member
From reading Randys download the idea of minus threshold to cut out the small foil really works but the small gold rings still can be had and vice versa the whispers of those deep silver coins will come thru with careful setting of higher threshold(be careful too loud and just might work the opposite)...using various units over the years find with the XT's the benefits seem to be more prevalent on threshold adjustment, Again you are going to lose the gold chains in negative threshold and too positive going to miss the deep coins so experimentation is recommended. Minelab gives us the tools and used properly they really work.
Also choice of tones is critical as some of us hear tones better and lets face in one tone audio variances are easier to hear for the average guy or gal at least.

Nice job Randy and a good read for X-terra users...as knowing your unit relates to successful hunts and more goodies in the pouch...:clapping:

Thanks Dan, I appreciate it! The title "Understanding your X-TERRA" is the message I want everyone to take from the eBook. Knowing your detector, any detector, is the key to having successful hunts and more goodies in the pouch. HH Randy
