Yard Hunt 10/24/12

Hunted a yard this morning that I had been eyeballing for a few months now.
No Bryce along today as I think he headed to St. Louis to hunt very early this morning so I had all the goodies to myself
Im glad I stopped and asked for permission because even though I didn't make any spectacular finds; I made some finds nonetheless with a ring, some wheaties and indian, a button, some silver and a whatzit.
Got excited on the ring but it didn't last long because I could tell it was just plated and not sterling.
I also found a second silver which was a Roosevelt but I must have lost it in my truck because when I pulled everything out of my pocket it wasn't there.

Seriously...good stuff buddy..and I know you'll pop some more out of there next trip.

I have two training appointments this morning...then will meet you right after I eat.

I'll only have about 2 hours or so before I have to be back for 2 more appointments...but we'll have fun regardless.

Hopefully we can sniff another keeper or 2 from our stomping grounds.

Yeah, I ran into an older guy once when out.
He reached in to his pocket to show me the merc he found and it was gone.
Guess I will have to go back there and find it.
