My F5 showed up today. Assembled it, did some air testing, and commenced to hunting the front yard

4 copper memorials, 1 copper Canadian penny, a clad dime, a clad quarter and a couple pull tabs....
And then the rain set in. Oh well, I'll have to give it another go tomorrow

I've been having a blast with this thing! I picked ap a new Pro Pointer tonight, a belt and finds bag, and the extra bottom shaft showed up UPS today so I don't have to change all the hardware to change coils. I have a 5" GoldBug DD and a 11" DD. Played with the 5" last night, and the 11" tonight. I'd been over the yard with the White's Prizm II, and am finding it doesn't even come close to the separation and depth of the F5. I've got 3 and 4 bars on the Fe304 meter, and I suspect the ability to ground balance to that soil, combined with the 8" coil has a lot to do with that, along with the fact the Fisher is a more expensive and featured machine. The deepest coin so far, was a copper penny at around 8". needless to say I'm impresses with the results, especially considering the mineral content of my yard!!
