Mike from Chicago called last night and said he was in MI and wanted to know if I wanted to go digging today. We set up a noon hunt. I met him and Jerry at the park we hunted last time he was here. I was picking up a wheat cent here and there, and then got a 41 nickel. a couple more wheats and another 41 nickel. Then I got a phone call from a friend. We chatted and then I said well I need to go so I can find me some silver. We hung up and just a few steps later I pulled the nicest Standing Liberty Quarter I have ever found. It is a 1920 S in very nice shape. I remember thinking about 30 minutes earlier that I had yet to find a silver quarter at this park! The pics are not the best, it looks better in person!
