The 10 k white gold ring I dug yesterday has 11 diamonds ! I had it tested this morning at the jeweler. They said it was a $300.00 ring. What a thrill - especially as it fits my wife just right.
Remember tho - I have been detecting 25 years now and this is just my third diamond. Great day for me, Steve in so az

Great find, Steve, and I've been detecting since 1980, mostly starting in 1981 after joining the club, and never found something like that! Anyway, congrats and you're blessed and now blessing your wife. Not many would be pleased with their husbands being away from home too much! My husband and I both detected, so no problem there. The problem was he wanted to quit and go home and I still wanted to keep going! <img src="/metal/html/biggrin.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":D">
Much younger then and gold fever had a hold of me! Didn't start writing most of the poems until after he left in 1986 and then we were divorced in 1988! I didn't hunt much during those difficult times and only when my friends and I would go. More fun and less dangerous when there's a hunting partner!
Alas, those days are gone, as they are older than I am and live too far away and one has passed away! I don't belong to the club now, as can't drive at night for the meetings and finances are too limited to keep paying dues!
