I ended up with plan C... I hunted in a woods that was a horse racing track way back when. The last few times there I have been skunked. It is nice hunting though, quiet, usually not much trash except concentrated areas. Anyway, I found a 1924 wheat right away and then three hours later I heard that soft deep silver sound (it was down about 8"). It is worn and has a D scratched in the face, but it made my day! 1876 Seated Qtr, yea!

Those Seated Quarters will get anyone's heart pumping. That site would be a #1 Priority in my book to keep pounding. If a Quarter was still there, then there should be some Seated, Barber Dimes as well. Continued Success, Good Luck and HH.
