with the noise cancel working 100% and not moving! I could tell the difference. I layed it on the top of the sand without anything around and waited. See finds on Beach and Water forum.

yes, it can make a difference. All signals that you past walking with the Noise Cancel going through it's set-up could have caused you to miss a lot!~
