I have a printer, it works and everything! It scans, it copies and whatever else a printer is supposed to do. I hate new toys, they cost too much. Now all I need(Want) is a digital camera. This printer has all kinds of slots to do stuff with as far as those memory sticks. Mayby I can post some of my finds soon! When I find something?

really like mine. It's a Hewlett Packard! Just keep the faith and get out metal-detecting and you will find something to show us! <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":)">

The x-73 is not a ad printer, just not a nice one to get apart and work on. I have stripped one down to the frame and was able to repair it with no problem. Refilling the cartridge should not have caused a problem except perhaps you got some ink on the contacts where the cartridge goes in. Clean both the cartridge & where it contacts the robbon cable with a pencil eraser.

Maybe you can post pics of that baby when the little bundle gets here! <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":)">
