Got out 3 hrs yesterday at the park I've been going to, tried a different area and ended the day with 5-25c, 11-10c and 13-1c plus all kinds of trash. Started out with a gb of 61, sens at 51 (lots of emi problems) disc at 20 with tabs notched out, spent about half the hunt like that trying to find some elusive gold but didn't find anything except a bunch of foil, finally set the disc at zinc (gb and sens stayed the same) for the latter part of the time and was able to dig more good targets than junk, not sure if this is happening to anyone else but like I said in another post I've found 2 or 3 zinc pennies that had a high 60 VDI and showed up as a screw cap (I've been digging all screw cap signals since the first one I dug after getting the detector was a ring) all I can figure is the pennies have looked and felt corroded so maybe the effect of the coin and mineralization of the ground is giving me the strange reading.
