went to a park I usually dont hunt much. But was happy with the result. Found this about 3-4 in down. I have found the owner (sorta) I am still waiting for a reply back so they can ID and claim the ring. Though I am sure it is thiers. It is a class ring from my old highschool so it was kinda a neat find for me. Hopefully the owner gets my message and contacts me back on it. Got to be honest here, I did debate just keeping it but then I thought " what if it was my ring? I would want it back." HH

Being honest pays in the long run. And good Karma goes a long way..you did the right thing and if you don't get a responce I would keep it, better to have tried once then to not have tried at all!!

Nice find and great to see a stand up guy in offering to return the ring. I found a class ring last Fall and recognized the engraved name inside as one of the senior girls from my church. I'll remember the hug I got a lot more than any monetary gain I would have had by not returning it. Kudos to you.
