My Momma from LA used to make a killer crawdad gumbo. Sure wish I had some of that now! Every spring, my aunt used to send up a cooler full of live crawdads. We either had a crawdad boil or put em into gumbo. Mom also made some outstanding chili too. She used to used shredded chicken and pork in her chili!

first taste that I ever had. That was some good eatin'. As far as chili goes my dad was a meat and taters man so we weren't exposed to many gourmet foods. I used to be able to eat hot 'n' spicy but I've had to back off. Ham and beans over homemade cornbread with chopped onions is a surefire winner around here. My wife is a good cook and I like almost anything homemade she makes.
HH (happy hunting) and happy eatin'.

our cajun buddy Henry would love it! :) Sounds good to me too! :)
