,if you buy your detector in the USA.,and live in the UK,,THEY WILL NOT REPAIR UNDER THAT MAKERS WARRENTY, USING THE EXCUSE WE ONLY REPAIR IF YOU BUY OFF US, THE MAKERS ARE PART TO BLAME BY ALLOWING THIS TO HAPPEN, SO WE ARE BEING HELD TO RANSOM FROM SOME OF THE UK DEALERS and thats not fair trading ,after all its the same detector where ever you buy it, bully boy tactics in my eyes :ranting:

your missing the point, the cost back across the pond is enormous, with insurance .

perhaps if asked nicely they would do a pick up .they seem to within the states ..is there a problem with yours john we might be able to help

I have no problems T2 working fine ,thank you .the only thing is JA,THINK THE RUN EVERY THING OVER HERE UK.,even putting in the T/Hunting, we are the sole agents for many off the top detectors, seems a very unfair deal ,there price, there service ,there warranty work ,it stinks ,just wonder if the like off F-Texas know we have to return our detectors to the USA if bought there, even if we live 1 mile from there store here, in the UK, should be able to return any were you live not have what they are doing .forcing us to buy at there place ,we know we can return the broken detector to USA or Canada ,but costs are high, and time is very long in getting your detector back.personally they should be named and shamed ,trouble is they give small donations to some UKforums so if you moan your expelled ,stiched up like a kipper we are in the UK.BUT I WILL STILL BUY OVER THE POND ,AND I URGE OTHERS TO FOLLOW SUITE

It should only be for electronic problems as almost everything else can be sent to the UK for warranty replacment parts form the factory. If you send in your machine be sure to send only the controls(upper stem) and the coil as nothing else is needed. Have the factory return it to you via USPS EMS(express mail). $50 from the US to the UK and takes 6 business days. Thats a good price.
