[attachment 264213 P4270007640x480.jpg][attachment 264211 P4270008800x600.jpg]About 2 months ago I bought an ACE 250 because I heard they were very easy to learn with and everyone in my family was totally new to detecting. My grandson and my wife both seem very interested in detecting. So I spent about 30 to 40 hours with the 250 so I could help them get started. Then I found a good buy on an F70 even though I was originally interested in an F5, I couldn't pass up the F70. So today I finally got the better half out in this rural, trashy, nasty wishin I had a sniper coil, PARK. I showed her the basics of the 250. I explained how when things get a little jumpy that it's probably lying to you, it's more than likely junk, you know. Keep in mind this place is so full of tabs and foil that you can see it lying around in some places. I can tell some of you already know where this is all goin. I'm over here finding pull tabs and foil, mixed in with a bottle cap or two when I here from behind the outhouse, "Larry , you better come over here". She's over there pullin the dirt off of this ring. A RING. First time hunting. Like not more than 45 minutes into it. A RING. Not funny enough yet? She says, " I get all these weird beeps over here like there is a whole bunch of stuff here but that can't be can it"? I says " you tell me , your the one with the ring". We dug about a 75 cent clad pocket spill not two feet from the ring. I don't know for sure what this ring is. It rang up a 73 on the F70, and super solid all day long dime no matter how you crossed it on the Ace. A magnet will slightly attract it so it isn't solid silver. It is about the size of a dime. Is it stainless or what? Oh and by the way, I got skunked by the wife. But I still win cause she is totally hooked HH---------Larry
