I can not tell where this was posted because this post will be deleated....Question, This is a brown open center painted white 10 inch coil...Has anyone ever seen this color coil offered for sale along with a Tesoro sticker.

The sticker, these were sold large and small in the mid 90's. This coil [Brown] was sold as a Christmas package also in the mid 90's like was is offered with the Outlaw. My uncle of Tanner's Metal Detector's when selling the top of the line machine at that time, people were not turned on with that large of a coil and very, very few people bought the package. My guess, this coil is from this special offer.....:tesoro:

...Actually this is a 10.5 inch coil brown open center that was painted white.....evidently Tesoro did not make many of the 10.5 inch Brown donut hole coils??.....I assume that it was painted white to be used in the water.........

It almost looks like a pi coil.Possible off of a old detector such as the piranah?I don't know how many pins a pi coil has but that resembles the 10.5 on my Sand Shark. :-D

...I am the owner of this coil...although it looks like the coil off the PI detector Piranah....it is Not....it works on my Bandido and the Bandido uMax...this coil was Not bought with my detectors....it was bought later......it was originally brown...someone painted it white...someone asked if this coil originally was part of a package ??...so maybe that is why this coil is Rare??.....I have looked at the coils available from Tesoro and this coil is Not listed.....

Looks like the 10.5" Tiger Shark coil with the sticker added. Just a guess though so don't take my word for it. Is it the long or regular length cable? I had an old detachable 10.5" Tiger Shark coil that looked just like this, minus the sticker, that looked just like this with the amount of wear. Maybe Tesoro makes them one color then designates them as a water machine coil and then paints them white at the factory so they can be seen a bit easier underwater.

Sure looks like a "beater coil" where someone painted it and sold it for a quick buck!
