I think it's great to introduce your son to metal detecting. My dad abandoned my brothers and I when I was 2 years old and it really is a good feeling to see a dad love his children and spend time with them. When he said all the rings and jewelry goes to his mom, it blessed my heart and I know it did yours, also.
