I am in the market for a new detector. I am leaning towards the Teknetics T2se or the Omega 8000. Which would be the best buy for coin hunting? And which would be more versatile. Thanks in advance.

Let me start by saying that I've never actually used either of these but think either would do. I've been doing research and am saving for a T2 SE, since I am primarily a relic hunter. I know a lot of coin hunters tend to go for either the Omega or even the G2. However, I've seen videos of people pulling a lot of coins with a T2. I'd recommend playing around with both of them to see which fits your needs best and, most importantly, is set up in a way you can comfortably use it. That's what attracts me to the T2, is the way everything is laid out in a simple, straight-forward manner. Of course, you could just buy both of them...
