Just figured I’d share some finds from one site I’ve been hunting this year. Lots of lead!

Very Nice. You have enough bullets to start a new war. lol

Wow! That's an amazing amount of finds, especially lead, congrats.

You definitely "got the lead out" LOL What state are your finds from? Congrats!
HH Jeff

Wow that is a very good site you have there. That is a lot of let and a lot of great finds. Congratulations

VERY nice hunting Antietam!!
I noticed at bottom of your pic 3 of the little turnkey locks for shoulderscales. Surprised that you haven't found those
there also or...........maybe you have:sneaky: Those seasoned troops around your area had probably thrown those things away long ago.
Also it looks like your ground is about as rough on buttons as mine is!!

Thank you okierebel, I have found a fit bit of the epaulette turn keys or buttons , here’s a picture of the ones from last year at same site, this site and the area was used back in 1861 as well, so Antietam campaign and Gettysburg campaign. The site has pasture , woods and farm fields , and they’ve been heavily fertilized over the years and just eats the buttons up , the only real machine that sniffs relics out there is the gpx. There’s another picture there , everything on mat is my 2019 finds, the left site circled is the above mentioned site.
