Pulsedive pinpointer

Can the Pulsedive and Anfibio be paired and used with the headphones at the same time? I see references that it can be done with the Simplex, but no mentions of the Anfibio.

Secondly,, how is the Pulsedive as a primary pinpointer? I wouldn't mind having a waterproof PP to go with the Anfibio.

Thanks

My PD Pin-pointer works great. Now paired with my 'green' Nokta / Makro headphones and Simplex + makes it an even better PP to use.

If you're using the 'green' wireless headphones with the Anfibio, then yes, they should pair up just fine.

Thanks Monte,, so how does that work? Both pieces are paired with and producing audio into the the headphones at the same time? Or does the pinpointer override the detector when it's powered on? Thanks in advance?

Here’s a video that might help even though it’s a bit cheesy

Well, the beauty of having two Simplex + devices is that I now have a pair of mutes to help me find stuff. With my version 2.76 Simplex + I could still hear the Pulse-Dive pinpointer and it seemed to over-power any audio I heard from the detector .... unless I was working in an EMI bothered location. But with the 2.77 update I get to enjoy pressing the button to 'mute' the device and cut-off the speaker/output and only hear the Pin-pointer during recovery. I unmute the Simplex + after recovery and I get back to hunting.

Well, what about the Anfibio Multi? Here's an approach I figured took care of my needs. I only used the GEN, 2-Tone, 3-Tone and DEEP modes. Generally it was 3-Tone. So it was easy to select 4-Tone mode, go to Tone Volume and reduce all of the Zones to '0' Volume. Then, when hunting in 3-Tone, kneeling down to make a recovery just press the Mode select button for 4-Tone ... Quiet! Use the pinpointer, make your recovery, tidy up the spot, and when you're ready to hunt, select 3-Tone mode again.

Thanks for the video. Not really cheesy. I had actually already watched that one. No disrespect intended, but that video just discusses pairing to the headphones. I was looking to find out how all three pieces ( the pulsedive, headphones (and) the Anfibio ) worked together.

Gotcha,

It peaks my interest for sure. One thing I dislike about my current setup is having to pull one headphone cup off to hear the pinpointer, then having to re-seat the headphones, hat and possibly eye glasses after target recovery.

Exactly, and that's one thing that annoys me as well, mainly due to my impaired hearing. The P-D Pinpointer works well with some of my other detectors, but with the Nok / Mak green edition headphones and my Simplex + or others, it's great to hear it directly in my headphones.
