Got out of state for a safer hunt, I swear deer season is a state holiday here in Missouri but Iowa doesn't open till next week. One of my favorite haunts {old ghost town} paid off today with a few goodies, the dime and shield read unusually low on the TID. 10 on the nick and 21 on the dime 🤷‍♂️
I really like the buckle it reminds me of a large cent.
I switched it up with settings there was lots of shale a coal mining byproduct. It is really hot soil so I went with field 1 And the six inch coil. It ran pretty smooth with the sensitivity at 22 and the recovery at 6.

Nice hunt, sir! Hear ya on the deer hunters. That shield is in good shape! The buckle is pretty neat isn't it.

And orange hat and vest, I won't even go there when their season opens. Something about party hunting I am not sure about  does party mean alcohol or large groups or both:ROFLMAO:
That can go south in a hurry, hunting like that. I grew up in a family where all the men and boys did drives and hunted our farm every year. Those days end at the local meat locker with lots of Budweiser and stories. Good times.

I still think if you strap your detector on to the rifle barrel you could kill two birds with one stone.

nice hunt Jeff. I'm a bit partial to the IH cents. But I do love to see those seated ladies!

Indians are nice Randy but these were toast, barely make out the dates. The seated was pretty smooth but the date/mint made up for condition or lack of!
Ever seen a buckle like this one?

No, not that I remember. It reminds me of a Stella Flowing hair $4 gold coin image. Not just the hair, but the shape of her nose.

That's a fine hunt. Shovel problems?
