Nickel Notch -Want to find Buffalo Nickels

I really hope other etrac users have got what you have said about 12-12 and the one I went out and dug at exactly those numbers...sometimes people ask questions and never respond back or seem to be gone for weeks at a time. That nickel is amazing ... it does seem that the most I find are 1919,1920, and 1937 nickels.
Thanks for your imput, michael NY !
I posted a very successful coin pattern in aug, 2020 ...I got one reply with a coin found...My guess it didn't work for most so I stopped posting on how it works for me.
So now I just like and reply to what others post. If they ask and I know something about it I may post. Or I test it out in the field....gets me out of the house.

Hit the church camp to find that buffalo nickel for you...came in as a 12-12 so the 110 pattern will get them for you.

yes...Now pattern 3 ...the 2nd line from the left will hit Indian pennies if you are in an area for them....if not , you will dig zincolns as they come in at the same coin id as IH'S...
If you are not in an area for Indian pennies...that second line from the left on pattern 3 can be ignored ...or all the 30's conductive numbers.

Good Luck....

Keep us informed on how you do with the 1-10 pattern

Thank you Elmy I’ll keep you posted. I will try the WOT coil with your program.

Elmy, so that means that both your programs will find the Buffalo nickel, correct?
don't mean to answer for Elmy, Yes I'm sure they will... I have the 110 program loaded and have not found any nickels so far this year other than standard jefferson... but around here they come in anywhere between 10-12 and 09-11... alot of them were 11-11 I have dug a ton of foil and pull tabs in that range looking for a V or buffalo... every 12-12/13 signal I have dug has been a beaver tail so I'm still in the "denied" category!

try manual noise cancel at 2... I never use anything but channel 2....unless I hunt close to another etrac user.

Hang in there Gunwolf you will find one. Keep at it. I’ll keep everyone posted on how I do.

Elmy, How about the third line for pattern 3. That is for silver, correct?

well.. I found 2 today.. and your not gonna like what my numbers were... first one was 6" and had the tone but the numbers were 22-16, 22-15.. it was so toasted I cannot date it... second one was 8" and was a 10-14, 10-15 now i know my VDI numbers are for my soil and conditions... but if I had those discriminated out or would not dig that certain signal/tone.. I would never have found them... it's a crap shoot sometimes...
