This Legend is already getting my attention

Legend looks really good,I'm glad makro keeps putting out these great coin machines, and affordable. The Deus 2 seems to have all the relic hunters stirred up but it's still a relic machine and I can't see any Beach or coinhunters buying it. The legend will sell for sure from what I see so far in the videos, it's a better rounded machine, and the price is very affordable...

I bought the DEUS II for Beach and coin hunting kind of weird saying what you did there will be lots of people using it for this.

Dunno Wood, my buddy who I hunt with the most, sent me a video the other day via text about the Deus and beach hunting. So far it looks good. I would like to see videos from several different beach hunters in various parts of the US to help me decide if it's enough of an upgrade to justify the money. I beach hunt more than any other kind of hunting.

I would also like to see more Legend videos at the beach and someone doing depth test. How a particular detector does on relics isn't important to me at all. Most of my relic hunting is when I go back home to Louisiana. I judge detectors by percentage. Example, is the D2, 50 % better on the beach than the Legend, or 25% better ? What percentage is the Legend better than the Nox at depth on gold rings and how does it do with gold necklaces ?

Maybe I'll buy both and just compare for myself instead of waiting for videos.

Probably the best idea. Gives one the chance to play with different settings and judging performances for yourself in your environment. HH jim tn

Ok, you "PRE ORDERED" a Deus II and again you TROLL a Nokta thread. Please go troll somewhere else...

I don't think it's weird, neither of us have a deus 2 but I have alot of hours on the regular deus. And for coin hunting yards, parks,,,well,,let me just say there's lots of better options,,,so your speculating on the deus 2 being any better in those departments

I think the ID scale is gonna take some getting usto, but not too bad. Has anyone seen the smaller coils yet?

I think NM will release a 9X5 coil for the Legend fairly quickly. Until that happens, I'll likely use the 6-inch coil the most (I'll buy the Legend pro pack).

Yes. I'm used to my 99 scale on my Impact. I will adjust...

Yeah all the people over seas hunting for coins on Roman sites, Parks, Yards are foolish LOL OK.
Sounds more like User Error.

I like tones I am hearing in the videos, but compressed ID scale might be the only thing I won’t like about it. Time will tell. I hope Calabash gets one to show the world the good and the bad 😃

I must of missed those videos of people overseas using the XP Deus in yards and parks. And they're cherry picking coins only? could you post a few for me?Much appreciate it

I would hope a machine costing almost 3 times what the Legend does would be more than 50% better.
I think the Legend is going to be a decent machine, and i believe it will compete quite well with the Equinox 800 but, to compare it to a machine that is almost three times the cost I feel is absolutely absurd
I never could understand why people want to compare a machine that cost 2-3 times less than another machine, to me it is almost like comparing a GPX 6000 to a fisher Gold Bug it is ridiculous
just like when people compared the simplex to the Equinox 800 or even the 600 a $254 entry level machine to a $600-$1000 flagship machine how ridiculous was that, and grant you the Simplex plus is a decent little detector but lets face it, it is not a Equinox 800 or even a 600, just my two cents

I've been parroting what you said for a long time. If it cost more, it should give you more. Not everyone will pay 1600 bucks for a detector. Doesn't make them less of a detectorist if they don't. Having fun should be priority number 1. Many will not hunt an iron riddled field all day looking for that one elusive button. For some finding that one button is the challenge, and they will spend 8 hrs looking for it. A hunter will always be limited to what is under the coil.
