Just curious if Minelab has anything new for us Equinox or Manticore users coming this year? I don't hear of anything and it seems that Minelab has forgotten us as loyal users and customers. If I wasn't this old I would switch to a company that has actual support for their customers..Just a thought...Ted

What !??? I haven’t even taken out my manticore out of the box since I purchased new about a year ago and there might be a new detector on the horizon? Well that sucks . I guess I’ll have to leave it in the closet and start saving for the new latest and greatest . Can’t wait , I’m already set to pre order mine . Happy dance

It won't happen. Minelab wants you to own a Manticore , an Equinox and an Xterra . Their Xterra has more coil choices than the 900 or Manticore but less features. If you want a 6" coil you'll have to buy a 900 or Xterra. All part of their strategy to squeeze every dime out of you they can. Frustrating but I love their machines.

I've heard that they are but it's going to be on the gold detector side of things, those multi, multi-thousand $ machines used for gold prospecting.
They just recently, in the last year or two, came out with the Manticore, NOX 900/700, and X-Terra Elite & Pro models, so they have the hobbyist side pretty well covered, from $279 to $1,800 or so. I can't imagine spending $5K, $7K, or more on a detector, but I guess if I was prospecting for gold, it might be necessary.
