Does anyone dig every signal

I recently was fooled by a good 36signal in a remote place ,turned out to be fag pkt foil, was expecting gold

I always dig it all at the beach. I never dig it all at the parks. I might dig it all on a good site not loaded with modern trash.
same here I've dug way too many silver coins on my beaches that sound bad or come in lower than they should
because they are very worn from saltwater on land I'm way more picky

I am wondering if folks here in the US dig every signal. I don’t do that and I get too picky. I am missing some good targets?
Take the 80’s VDIs - where I detect most are screw caps or junkers.

I usually only go out for about two to three hours and not that often anymore. I end up digging about thirty targets or a little more.
The program I use 100% of the time I only dig the high tones,I pay no attention to the screen until there’s a high tones probably the reason I haven’t dug any gold with the deus 😁

Finding gold with any machine isn't an every day occurrence. You have to get your coil over it and then you must decide to dig it. Beach and water hunters are about the only ones who consistently find gold. If your going to have a chance at it you must dig at least midtones. I wonder what your version of high tones means?? I have dug two gold coins they hit at 56 & 72 in my version of the general program. I have some other gold items like class rings, regular rings, earrings and other bits and pieces and they were generally above 40 or so. The little stuff like broken bits and erring backs are much lower. This is the RUB, How much crap OR other targets that fall below say 35 are you willing to dig?? If you don't dig you WILL MISS some targets 100% But do you care? I'm good with passing bits and bobs below 35 TID. This is a conscious decision on my part. Get out there.

I agree with you 100% CT Todd, I only use the deus for coins and silver ,it has a program that I put in it years ago its kind of a cherry picking program the has a high shrill tone on clad and silver but doesn’t like nickels or gold at all,if I’m looking for gold I’ll use the V3i or vx3 and occasionally the DFX,the Detech chaser is also good on gold but there not everyone’s cup of tea,if I were close to the beach I would use the TDI but since I’m not it’s just a relic machine for me,it’s just what I’m accustomed to weather it’s right or wrong 😁
