F75, badass

coinspader

Well-known member
Found this relic today, a Chinese guy handed it to me, that's how deep it was. I was strolling along with my F75 lTD in an area where there had been stuff dumped around the early 1900's, the detector hit what sounded really good and really deep so I proceeded to dig, and dig, and dig, at around 12 inches I stuck the carrot in the hole and still didn't get a response, I thought about giving up on it because it was getting dark and the park manager was driving around shutting all the gates, I picked up the F75 and ran it across the hole again and it was still singing on it so I talked myself into taking out a couple more scoops. Well after that I put the probe back in the hole and I was right on top of the target so I took my Lesche out of the sheath and popped out what appears to be the end of a large spoon or ladle at around 16 inches down . F75 is still one of the top dogs of metal detectors in my opinion, just got that proven to me again today. GL HH : )

I still use it as my main detector. It's a great detector especially after learning all the different settings.

I found two gold crowns at a local park where an annual fair is held. Four inches down with perfect nickel signals. Pretty impressive!

I’ve never used an F75, but I have a lot of hours behind the F70. It’s a fun detector and I’ve made some nice finds with it. I still remember all those posts from REVIER and MudPuppy, they both loved the F70. For those that have used both, what would I be missing by using the F70 instead of the F75?

I loved my F75 way back when. Found my 1st American gold coin, 1910 S, $10 !!! Yeee Ha !!!! Unfortunately, the shoulder has worn out and I can no longer swing the machine.
Sold it to a guy who lost his wedding band. Unfortunately, we never found it.

Great machine but kinda heavy compared to newer machine. It was a game changer at that time !!!

The F70 can only ground grab for the ground balance, the F75 you can manually adjust. The newer F75s has somewhat of an adjustable iron tone and 7 different processes where the F70 has only two, default and slow. The F75 has iron volume adjustment the F70 lacks. The F75 uses a trigger for pinpointing, not a membrane switch. You can adjust the audio pitch on the F75. That's about all I can come up with.
