Surprise find today!!

I got out for a short hunt this morning and it was quite cold when I started, but got better later on.
I went to a school where I have found lots of clad, but unfortunately, it is not replenishing very fast it seems.
The school is not old so I was not expecting to find any silver here, but near the end of the hunt I got a screaming 35 on my 800.
My first thought was it may be big silver ring, but was shocked when the Walker came out of the plug!!
I feel that a kid brought to school to show his friends and lost it, but who knows for sure how it got there, but it sure made my day!
This is my second walker this year and puts me at 9 silver coins for the year.
Hopefully I can find one more silver coin before the years ends to get me to double digits.

Looking at old aerials back to 1957, there were just open fields at this area.

Well, that last one…was a little rough

Looking at old aerials back to 1957, there were just open fields at this area.

Wondering if a small town gathering or carnival was there.
A few fields back home I don't believe anyone ever detected.
Had small carnival there in the early 60's.

Nursing home owns it now.
Near a highway intersection.
Probably covered in aluminum trash.

Poke around some more.
Maybe you'll find a hotspot.

Remembering they pushed a lot of dirt to the edges of the property when they built the school.
Look for those mounds.
A lot of times just looks like a raised line.

At 60$ per ounce that makes that coin worth at least 30$ at melt down value.
Earlier this year I found a 1944 Walker around an old church, hadn't been there but about 30 minutes so I thought this place is going to be hot, hunted for 7 more hours and found nothing else.

I do that a lot. Start out with great find for me anyway. Then nothing. My name should be one find at a time
