Any Compass Detector Enthusiasts these days????

When I first started detecting in 2000 I was really drawn on their History. (Compass)
They made some really Great detectors for the times and had many, many, models.
Me I own 5 different models. Have sold off a couple of other ones I had.
Just curious if anybody out there still uses a Compass metal detector full or part time just to break up always using the same detector????? Can't go wrong with a Good working Compass detector in my opinion. Thanks to all that reply here and Good Hunting...

Oh hell ya, I've owned 2 of them, tho its been a coons age since I've had them. If memory serves me, ( not sure any more ) the first one w as the coinscanner and then the coinscanner pro II ( maybe ).. I know I sent one of them off to a guy in Texas to do a calibration on the unit. Got it back, worked fine, just not sure if there was any more depth to be seen on the unit.
The consensus was to buy the ones that had the red outine around the sticker on the side of the control box. The black outline ones were made later after the fire at the factor and weren't ( supposedly ) as good as the earlier ones.

As said this is going back probably at least 20 yrs so I may be off a bit on what I wrote.

Still like useing the Coin Pro II. Love the tones. Have quite a few Compass detectors.
Well made and good detectors.
 
I started out with the 320, must have been in 1983. Went with the Relic Magnum 7 for a few years. Graduated to the Challenger X80 after that. That line was way ahead of its time but was a big Ole lumber wagon to swing. Found alot of silver with that machine
