Picked this up relatively cheap, had one about 10 or more years ago, the ground balance was a real pain. The minute the ground changed from lightly worked soil to compact the machine reacted and I'm talking every couple of feet. Still a little older and wiser? Prepared to have another go

Used to be considered one of the best machines for ancient sites in the uk........never did try one but had a laser trident based on the tesoro Cibola and that was a fantastic little machine.
 
Recently bought a new old stock one.
Already broke one of the battery holders.
Dam cats knocked it off the shelf.
Anyone know where I can get a new one.
Was just starting to figure it out.
Loved I could adjust the tones for my deaf ears.
Yes ground balance is a bit touchy.
Great machine.
